The Athena is a high-performance LED downlight offering high efficiency, low glare, and a sleek, compact design. Featuring an 8W triac-dimmable driver and selectable colour temperature (3000K / 4000K / 5700K), it provides consistent, flicker-free lighting for any space.

Each Athena downlight comes supplied with an AU plug lead, allowing it to be plugged directly into a standard Australian power socket for quick and easy installation, eliminating the need for hardwiring in many applications.

Crafted with a compact, pc aluminium body and recessed lens for uniform light output. IP54 rated and CRI >80, Athena is ideal for residential and commercial use including living areas, hallways, shops, showrooms and offices.

IC-F and IC-4 rated - Can be safely covered and abutted to building insulation. Backed by our 7-Year Warranty.

These downlights are IC-4 approved in Australia and IC-F approved in New Zealand. Insulation can abut and cover the fitting where the installation requirements permit, so the ceiling stays sealed and the downlight stays safe. To be installed by a licensed electrician.

Every HEXA downlight carries a colour temperature switch on the fitting itself. Set it warm for a living room, natural for a kitchen, or cool for a garage or workshop. Change your mind later and it takes seconds, with no new fitting and no new order.

Installation

Four Steps, One Ceiling

The integrated driver and the standard 3 pin plug take most of the work out of it.

Step 1. Cut out
One 90mm hole. The standard Australian cutout, so it drops into most existing ceilings.
Step 2. Connect plug
The lead finishes at a standard 3 pin plug. Plug it in, with no transformer to find a home for.
Step 3. Insert downlight
Pinch the spring clips, push it up, let it seat against the ceiling.
Step 4. Finished
Set the colour temperature on the switch and you are done. Insulation can go straight back over it.

Installation should be carried out in line with AS/NZS wiring rules. Where new wiring or a new socket outlet is required, use a licensed electrician.
